WCA offers a lunch program that utilizes USDA guidelines. The Lunch Lady prepares and delivers freshly made, hot lunches that include an entree, fresh fruit/veggies, dessert, and drink. All meals are prepared utilizing foods that are "kid-friendly" and appeal to parents nutritional standards. Before/After Care

The before-school daycare opens at 7:30 a.m. and is located in the education building.  After-school daycare begins at 3:30 p.m. on regular days.  Daycare on minimum days begins at 12:15 p.m.

There is time set aside for those students who need to complete homework.  All children will need to be picked up by 6:00 p.m.  Daycare fees are $2.00 per half-hour segment.

Reservations do not need to be made for the Before and After Care program.  All students are welcome at any time.  All hours are charged on an actual use basis.  No contract is signed.  No monthly minimums.

 Uniforms

Students are expected to wear school uniforms every school day.  Uniforms consist of a Navy or Khaki bottom and a Navy or White top with school logo.  The full uniform policy is printed in the school handbook.  Here is a quick summary:

Bottoms need to be Navy or Khaki.  Acceptable bottoms are pants or shorts without any extra pockets, or skirts, skorts and dresses that are no shorter than 2" above the knee.  Capris, sweats and extra baggy pants are not acceptable.  Bottoms can be purchased anywhere uniforms are sold, such as Target, Old Navy, Sears, JC Penny, Lands End or French Toast.

Tops can be either logoed polos, turtlenecks, button-down collared shirts or Peter-Pan collared blouses.  They need to be either Navy or White.  Logo'd polos are available at Sonoma Design Center or Lands End.  You will need WCA's preferred school number (900-9732-0) to order the logo.

Navy or White pullover sweaters, cardigans or logo'd sweatshirts are allowed in the classroom.  Non-logo'd jackets are permitted on the playground.  Sweatshirts can be purchased through Sonoma Design or Lands End.

Friday Shirts are permitted in lieu of the regular uniform shirt on Fridays only.  These shirts are available through the school office.  Regular uniform bottoms must be worn with the Friday shirt.

PE Uniforms are required for grades 4-8.  These must be purchased through Sonoma Design.

There are a limited number of used uniforms available for purchase in the school office.  Families are encouraged to drop off outgrown uniforms so that other students might benefit from them.
